I played a few levels of Cradles of Rome 2, yesterday. I've also been playing the Mac app (also has phone versions) of Elder Sign: Omens, a lot! I seem to be addicted to both the boardgame version and the Mac version, although they do differ somewhat.

Are these newer games available for the Mac, and if so, where?

If we are referring to the same King's Bounty game, it was the precursor of the Heroes of Might and Magic Games.

They are probably thinking that they will charge for mandatory online play, like World of Warcraft.
