Re: Texas Holdem
I'm also worse at keeping secrets. My best friend used to say: "You're like an old refrigerator. You can't keep nuthin' "

No need to take them down, GL. I just need to be more aware and careful.

Sound cut out for me as well, so I just went to the link. I think that's the sweetest ad I've ever seen! Beautifully done!

Re: printer for my windows 7 computer
I had an HP Deskjet that worked quite well. The cartridges were expensive and I just decided to replace it with the possessed HP. I hung onto the Deskjet until recently when I turned it into electronics recycling.

Re: printer for my windows 7 computer
I had a couple HP printers. The last one I owned, I turned on one day and the cartridge started moving across the printer and banging against the side...over and over again...like it was possessed. Then it started smoking! Needless to say, I quickly unplugged it and trashed it. I think I replaced th...

Re: It's Friday
I remember when I was working how it just seemed like someone had shoved a couple extra days into the week and Friday would never get there. Now that I'm retired, I can't keep track of what day of the week it is. One day is like another. Still, I've been conditioned to recognize Friday as a special ...

Re: Sad - no time for games
I don't have any Christmas prep to do since we are not doing a family gathering this year...which I usually host...15 people. So...I downsized the decorating. My older brother will join me on Christmas Day for dinner. I've had a holiday tradition for the past 30 plus years where I would find the fun...

That reminds me of using the copier function to make copies of items before I submit them. Wine rebates readily come to mind!

Re: printer for my windows 7 computer
With many of them, MB, they come with software that you install on your computer. Set up is generally straightforward. As to a scanner, I have found that feature especially helpful when I've had to sign and send legal or financial documents back and forth. It was especially helpful when I was settli...

Re: printer for my windows 7 computer
I have an Epson Work Force printer, scanner, copier that I've used with my Windows 7 and now my Windows 10 laptops. I have it connected wirelessly to both. I got it at Wal-Mart a few years ago paying less than $40 as I recall.

Re: What Casual Games Are You Playing Right Now, Continued
I just finished MCF Crossfade. I do not recommend it. It just didn't grab you like many of the others and the puzzles were easier than you are used to in this series. The ones that had the most confusing directions you could complete just by clicking on things. I think Grandma is the Developer of th...
