Re: Texas Disaster
I also saw on the news that a woman who apparently had "adjustable" billing from her electric provider and who normally pays $40 per month just got a bill for $9000! What?????

Re: Texas Disaster
As well he should, Drac. That was the mayor of Colorado City. Guess the politicians there think they get elected just to provide them with a good paying job rather than serving the people. Unbelievable.

Re: Texas Disaster
Glad to hear, GL! Let's hope the folks in your state make the necessary changes to the system so it doesn't happen again.

Texas Disaster
Has anyone heard from Ghostlady? With all the problems in Texas with the power grid, water supplies, food and gasoline shortages, I'm hoping she's okay. From what I understand, the only area that has been spared is El Paso as they are part of the Western power grid and not the stand alone Texas grid...

Re: What Adventure Game Are You Playing
I actually stumbled first attacking from the north in two places (northwest corner and southwest corner). In the northeast, you had to come from the south (even though coming from the north you gained more soldiers) and in the southwest, you had to come from the east. I also wish there was a reset b...

Re: What Adventure Game Are You Playing
I just started The House of Da Vinci. Wow! What an immersive experience! I did get a bit frustrated with the conquering Europe puzzle. I did have the correct order of countries and armies to conquer, but in the last stage, I kept conquering from the wrong direction, resulting in a decrease rather th...

Re: Updated The Forum
I did have issues accessing the forum this evening. I chalked it up to the upgrade still going on. So I exercised a bit of patience and now all is fine.

I started this game a few years ago, downloading the game from Big Fish. I never finished it, though.

Re: Tyler Texas in East Texas
If I can't bring those arbovitae back, I'll either replace them with boxwood or juniper. They are supposedly deer proof.

Re: Tyler Texas in East Texas
Do they come close to houses because there is a lack of food for them? This has been a strange year for the deer. I've seen a few here and there in the subdivision before, but never this many and all the time. There are woods behind the houses on the other side of the pond and once the pond froze o...

Re: Tyler Texas in East Texas
Wow! Just beautiful! Here I am trying to keep the deer out of my yard this winter so they don't eat any more of my shrubs. One got one of my azaleas in my front bed. The deer have been absolutely brutal this year. Found 5 of them just nesting in my yard last week after turning my arbovitae into swis...
