Re: Darcy Coates

Well, I am much better qualified to talk about games than I am the written word. I don't know much about writing at all .

As for the puffin song here it is https://youtu.be/TAemYMUFE68?t=368 , I have the link set to start at the song, but if you want to see how it came about start at the beginning.

Re: Darcy Coates

I do not believe so. I don't believe any of her books have been made into other media. There is another book called "The Mystery of Craven Manor" from a different author and a horror video game called "Kraven Manor" but no show that I am aware of. This is weird, I never thought I...

Re: Darcy Coates

Oh, my. It's hard to choose. So, if you want one that has a minimal cast of characters then I'd say "The Haunting of Gillespie House" It is probably my favorite when it comes to emotional investment. If you want a story that focused more on a group then "The Carrow Haunt" is a go...

Re: Darcy Coates

I would have plenty of time to read if I stopped playing games. 👻

Re: Darcy Coates

That series sounds good, but I'm not really one for multi-book arcs. I don't read a lot and when I do I want fairly short, self-contained stories that I can consume in just a few hours. That's why I am such a fan of her haunted house novels.

RE3 remake was pretty good, but not as good as it should have been. RE2 remake was much better. Gotta give credit to graphics engine though because they looked amazing.

Ghosts of Tsushima looks incredible. If it comes to PC one day I'll play it.

Too bad it just says "lottery ticket" and not "winning lottery ticket". 👻

Re: Games I've played recently and hope to tackle in the near future.

Was never a big Diablo fan (or isometric action games in general), though I have put lots of hours into Diablo 3 due to a coop partner when it first came out. I don't think I played Diablo 2 at all. Still, it feels good to conquer games that intimidate you. I completed Dark Souls 3 last year, a seri...

Yeah, just having a little fun. Speaking of the Namibia Desert there is a solar powered sound system somewhere in the desert that is set to play "Africa" by Toto on a loop for eternity.

Re: Games I've played recently and hope to tackle in the near future.

I did not like Far Cry 4 at all. As usual it was good looking country to explore, but it was too crowded with random stuff that was always getting in my way. A cliched one trick pony for a villain, no main characters that you could really like. A few good points but not enough for me to recommend it...

She's got a twitter now. Has some paperbacks on the shelves of Barnes and Noble these days. Apparently currently getting kicks out of naming the chapters.

Re: Asylum Demo Released - Finally!

Eh, I have the Director's Cut on Bigfish which is fine as I don't do Discord.

Does Senscape still make available that engine they originally started Asylum in before moving over to Unity? I always wanted to take a look at it but never had the time.

I wasn't aware that Somewhere In Time is "the best chick movie ever". I thought that was like The Notebook or something, but since I am not a chick I'll take your word for it. Anything with the best Superman ever can't be all bad can it?

Re: Ready Player One

Never had any interest in the book or the film, but I did enjoy the EWW of the movie on CinemaSins.
