Re: Spiderweb Software: Avernum 6 released on Macs
At least I know what I'll be playing for the rest of this year! Must get around to looking at Machinarium too but I feel a little poor right this second - we've had to find over £600 for a poorly cat.

Spiderweb Software: Avernum 6 released on Macs
And I'm currently playing it. Graphical quality has improved over other Spiderweb games, otherwise seems the same game style so far.

Re: Aveyond games
I've started playing "Aveyond 3". One or two questions: I was going through this mountainous region up to Thais (sp?) I clicked accidentally on a bit of cliff and found myself in a cave with lots of goodies. There didn't seem to be any clue that the cave was there. Are there more such plac...

Re: Aveyond games
Thanks for the recommendation Jen! And the warning - simplified is fine by me, too many abilities to worry about can lose me.

Thanks Shany - turn-based RPGs are my kind of game as opposed to real-time RPGs.

Thanks for the review DB. You covered the game pretty well.
Even from such a detailed review I find it hard to tell if I'm going to like a game!

Re: Ceville Review
I enjoyed this game, it was very welcome after thinking no more fun Adventures were being produced, but I enjoyed it in spite of the game in several ways. Didn't think "Ceville" was any less predictable than other games out there, but that's subjective. The game felt it needed a bit more p...

Eschalon Book II will remedy the lack of choice as regards the gender of your character.
There's quite a range of casual games now.

I expect "Dragonball Evolution" to be a silly movie, but now and then silly movies amuse me. Thanks for keeping us posted on your impressive viewing record Sneaker!
