Re: What social media do people use?

I have to use Facebook because I'm a business owner. But I don't use other platforms. I don't use my cell phone (just have it for emergencies),nor text.

Re: What Adventure Game Are You Playing

Colpet, I was so disappointed that the minimum Mac requirements for ROTS exceed those of my current computer, so I'll have to wait a while before playing it. It is interesting that they've included The Book of Dead Ends. I have the paper version of it. I went through my original ROTS game box and f...

Re: Chuckling at My First Computer

I have kept all my computers, and my first is a Win95. The difficulty playing it is hooking it up to monitors and keyboards. I have the old cables with the round connectors and some adapters. My Win98 still works, and I've played one of the old Puzz3D games on it as recently as a few years ago.

Re: What Adventure Game Are You Playing

I played Riddle of the Sphinx for most of yesterday. Even though this was a replay for me, I had to laugh when I got stuck at exactly the same spot I did way back when I played for the first time. Anyhow, I'm savouring the atmosphere and the music. I love finding the clues and the passages. It is su...

I started Keepsake today. This is a replay for me, but it has been so long ago that I barely remember it.

I'm playing Saga of Nine Worlds: The Stags on my iPad. It is a BigFish iOS game. It was a weekly deal, so I bought it on sale and it was a good buy. It is moderately challenging, but a nice spin on Nordic myth.

Re: Zigsaw Puzzles 2021

I love doing jigsaws, but the actual physical ones are impossible with 5 cats. I still have a subscription to Peter's Jigsaws (from Mulawa Dreaming) loaded on my computer.

MCF were always a must buy for me, and the CE as well. I loved those big multipuzzle scenes.

Re: What Casual Games are You Playing, Continued

I still buy the occasional iPad BigFish game only if it is on sale and after I've tried it out. These are inevitably older games, so I find them similar to what I used to play in 2016 or so.

Re: Some iPad Adventures I might suggest

Great hearing about some other games. I'll look into Tormentum, My Brother Rabbit, AntVentor, The Gardens Between, and Love You to Bits. Two others I forgot to mention were The Company and Circulous. My go to for finding out about new games is https://www.appunwrapper.com/ . If you haven't discovere...

I played this, and totally agree with your review. I find there are more isometric perspective games on offer lately-- Nox and The Almost Gone come to mind.

Some iPad Adventures I might suggest

For the past few years, I've been playing games almost exclusively on my iPad. Mostly I play causal escape games, but I have played a few games I would classify as Adventures. The difference (for me) is I have to pay attention, and take notes. I can't just drop off and rejoin a week or two later. I'...
