I showed hubby the picture and he found a different slot to put the monitor cable into and now I can see everything on Grim Fandango! whew. now, on an unrelated question, I have a bigger monitor that I asked him to hook up to this computer but there was nothing to pl...

Grim Fandango remastered
I have played this game many times before and didn't have a problem. Today when i wanted to play it, the screen was black. I could hear the music, but, no graphics or video. well, I can see the opening screen and I see Manny, but everything else is black so, I tried to load a saved game and it was s...

Re: covid
Thanksgiving was pretty lame this year. Hubby smoked a turkey breast and I did a ham in the oven. store bought cheesecake. My daughter and SIL had covid, so, I made a care package of everything and hubby brought it over to them. He left it outside their gate and just called them to pick it up, so, n...

Re: Adventure Game Easter Eggs
I just tried the Broken Sword easter egg for the tile puzzle and it works! And it is funny. She lifts up her shirt and wiggles her but after the door opens. However, then both times that I tried it, after I got into the room and George took over, the game froze up. I will have to try it again - and ...

donuts, for sure. I just bought donuts for breakfast yesterday - hubby had asked for them. but, I try to stay away from them as they sure add up the calories. If not that, then I like omelets. with lots of onions in it.

where are my telltale games?

Re: covid
Drac, I hope your stepson is okay. My MIL is still in the hospital. They are giving her plasma but, it doesn't seem to be helping. We are still pretty much hunkered down at our house too - but, I still have to babysit 2 days a week. Hopefully we all stay healthy.

Re: Halloween Approaches!
I put a big pan of candy by the end of the driveway - like I usually do, as the dogs go crazy when someone knocks on the door. Usually the pan is almost empty at the end of trick or treating but this year, I doubt if we had even 3 kids come. so, I am sure I will gain 10 lbs in the next month eating ...

covid
Hubby's mom is in the hospital and she tested positive for Covid. so, we have to quarantine now too until Hubby gets tested. so, no babysitting for me this week. I sure don't know how she got covid as she had a stroke and only goes out with her son (hubby) like twice a month.

Re: Cat duties, Scanning, Easter Eggs and Hard Gaming
I made another 2 quarts of hot tomato juice yesterday but I think that will be it for the year. I just told hubby that we have to pull up the garden. that is always a sad day for me. I love my garden. I miss my hummingbirds and robins. well, I start counting the days until May now.

Re: my downloaded games from Steam
that could be. it is just a backup computer as I had a lot of things to docusign and I needed a computer fast. but, now that I have my windows 7 back, everything is good. I am very careful of what I post and my transactions - in fact, I do most of my stuff on my phone, so I think I am good in that r...
