Re: Into The Darkest Corner by Elizabeth Haynes

I always skip the sex parts in books. There. I said it out loud. The sex parts and the battle scenes. ☺️

Re: Gaming on Android devices

I don’t play on Android, as you know, but I believe most games are available through Google Play. It’s the Android equivalent of App Store.

Re: The Procession to Calvary

I replayed the game today with no...well, hardly any...stabbing. The game lasted a lot longer this time around, and there was lots more to see and do 😬 I ultimately got three different endings. It was fun, and I would recommend it to any fan of classic adventure games a la LucasArts. There are some ...

The Procession to Calvary

This is a game by Joe Richardson, the same guy who did Four Last Things. It’s a point-n-click in the old style, where you have to pick a verb to interact with things. You play as a fat, stabby guy in ye olden days, who is just finishing up a stabbing spree when he comes up against a change in govern...

The Room

I kinda tricked myself into replaying the original Room game. It was called The Room Epilogue, and I thought it was the epilogue to the whole series and a new game. It was the epilogue to game 1 that was released as an update to the original game way back when. Oh well, it was only a buck. I played ...

Doors 1/2 and The Birdcage 1/2

These are maybe more casual games than adventure, but I’m posting it here because I think they would be of interest to peeps who like the Room and House of DaVinci games. They each have a few standalone puzzle box type levels and a couple of collectibles in each level, the gathering of which opens u...

Re: The Crown

I watched seasons 1 and 2 and then they totally changed up the actors and I got confused. The new Elizabeth looked like the old Margaret. So I quit 😛

Re: Dreamcatcher Games

First it was Dreamcatcher Games, then they tried a rapid expansion and swallowed up a couple of smaller publishers and changed name to The Adventure Company. They got a little too big for their britches and a little hubris-y and then imploded. If memory serves... That was a long time ago.

Re: Lumino City

A+ on this one from me. 5 stars. Two 👍👍. It was unique and charming and fun. There is a much shorter sort of prequel to it that is worth playing too, although a pale shadow to this one: Lume.

Re: The Frostrune

I played it a while ago and barely remember it. That probably sums it up.
