Murphy’s Law—it’s a real thing
Last month my home warranty expired. Yesterday my range croaked. I could’ve made all of my appliances last forever just by renewing the home warranty

Re: It’s been a long time!
He’s a beautiful dog. I’m sorry to hear he’s not doing well. Those aren’t the same dogs you had in Africa, are they? If so, it’s pretty remarkable the life they’ve had. It is nice to see you again. I don’t know if you remember me. I was out of the picture even longer than you.

Re: The Storm Sister by Lucinda Riley
I just finished the first book. I liked it quite a bit, although I found it too slow in some parts. I really liked the incorporation of real historical persons and the flipping back and forth between two time periods.

This is not an adventure game, it’s a puzzle game with story. I had preordered it based on the art and a paltry description of the gameplay. When I first started, I was disappointed because I thought it was going to be one of those puzzle games with only one type of puzzle. Well, that’s true to an e...

Re: The Last Door (Collector’s Edition)
Thimbleweed Park is a much better looking game than this. I swear, the pixels in The Last Door were even bigger than they used to be in the early days of computer video games.

All right, you persuaded me to try it. I bought book 1 in the series. I’ll start it as soon as I finish my current book.

Re: What Adventure Game Are You Playing
I’m playing Deponia on my iPad. It’s okay. It’s a little too talky-and-walky for my taste. And too many inventory items.

Adjustable billing? What the!? Here we pay for what we use, and the utility can’t randomly jack up rates by an order of magnitude.

The Last Door (Collector’s Edition)
This is a compilation of a four-episode series that was released over the course of a couple of years, funded by Kickstarter campaigns. Each episode is a small standalone adventure game, but when you play them all in a row, you get kind of an über-story. I played chapters 1-3 a couple of months ago ...

I played that a while ago too. It’s pretty fun. A little different than the usual run.

Those are beautiful properties. I would hate to be the one responsible for the yard work though
We have a lot of azaleas in this area too but not like that. Rhododendrons, which are a lot like giant azaleas, are more prevalent. There are some old tree-sized ones that are spectacular in full bloom.

Re: Dog Food
I had American Journey dry cat food a couple times, and my kitty liked it fine. She likes Purina One the best, though.
