Re: Guess what, Jude?
No patches, 'cause I had no internet all weekend. It seems to be running just fine. It shouldn't be too out of date, though, 'cause I just bought it on Friday (Battlechest, with strategy guide that I haven't even opened!). I knew that about the Alt key; I knew that about the disappearing items (lear...

Guess what, Jude?
I started Diablo II plus LOD this weekend! Can you believe this is my first time playing it, yes, after all these years? I am playing as a sorceress and am about to enter the monastery, right after I finish clearing out "The Pit." The dungeon names are so creative, aren't they? A fu...

Re: Aveyond games
This might be kind of spoilery re that cave, so avert your eyes if you don't want to see: There are five or six of those hidden caves in the game. One of them (maybe the one you found) contains many of the characters' ultimate weapons, and using them may reduce your enjoyment of the game because the...

Re: Aveyond games
Aveyond games are way fun! I've played them all. They are simplified turn-based RPG. Beware, though, the Aveyond 3 on Big Fish is only the first chapter (of two), so you'll get a sudden ending and a couple of unsolvable quests. The second part should be out sometime around the end of July/beginning ...

Finished Chrono Trigger (DS)
And I had a blast! What a fun game. I was sorry to see it end because I wasn't quite done yet. After the game is finished, you get an option for "New Game +," which is where you start all over again but get to keep all of your high-grade weapons and armor and tech (magic and special attack...

Nothing like a good hack'n'slash to take out all of your pent-up aggressions, eh?

Re: Does anyone here play on consoles?
I started gaming on consoles, way back in my mid-20s. The controller is second nature to me. I can see where it would be hard to take it up later in life, though, what with all of the buttons. Danyboy, have you ever played on a Wii? That kind of controller seems like it would be a lot easier to mast...

I play it in bed, too, and then I have a hard time shutting it off to go to sleep.

Does anyone here play on consoles?
I am totally addicted to Chrono Trigger on my leetle DS. I started on Friday and can't put it down! Usually I am not a big Square fan, but this game doesn't have random monsters and the boss battles are not so epic as in, say, Final Fantasy. Chrono Trigger is a recently released port of an old game ...

Re: Crysis
I played about halfway through The Witcher and loved it the whole time, then my computer crashed hard and I would've had to start over again. I still plan to go back to it, but I have to let enough time pass that it's all new again. I started VM:Redemption and got bored with it pretty quickly--it se...

Re: Crysis
What kind of game is that? FPS? I play dark games all the time, but my taste runs to RPGs. I just started both Fallout 2 on PC and Chrono Trigger on DS. I don't like FPS because I stink at them and lack any motivation to get better, I guess just because the whole style of gameplay is not fun for me....
