According to Wiki, there are Mac versions. I got the first three games (Legend, Armored Princess, Crossroads) from Steam.

King's Bounty games

Avid RPG fans might want to check out these old-school games. They are available relatively cheaply from Steam. They are a bit of a twist on the traditional RPG in that your "party members" aren't characters, but hordes of various types of combat troops/magical monsters. Thus combat is par...

Re: The Recipe Exchange.

I have used the Johnsonville mild Italian too, we have them here so should be easy to find. The kids of course prefer hamburger in their sauce so I compromised and put both. I have also used the turkey Italian sausage with good results and I always use the Italian stewed tomatoes, since I am unable...

Yes. It's actually 1.235 lbs--five big links. NOT the ground variety.

Re: Aveyond games

I added spoilers to your post, BJ, for those who may want to discover them on their own. No problem, and thanks. Of course, it's nearly impossible to "discover them on one's own," as that would require either using a map or simply accidentally stumbling into one of them, which is about a ...

Re: Aveyond games

Love these games. Each game has four of these unclued, unmarked "goodie caves." One has each character's best weapon, one has their respective best armor, one is full of gold and one has a lever which will allow you to advance your level up to 99.

It is the "...(God forbid) dialogue tidbit" that is probably what most turns me off in these games. All too often you are forced to go back and have an eighth conversation with somebody even though there is no rational reason to do so simply because some insignificant and unrelated event h...

Still haven't finished the game because.... SPOILER ALERT!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Peanuts + butter = peanut butter/glue? Sticking batteries in liquid nitrogen refreshes them? These are just two of the wildly illogical puzzle solutions that plague the game. And then...

Thanks, folks. Glad you enjoyed it. LadyK, you could do a lot worse than Anachronox as your first RPG. I'd recommend either it or one of the early Baldur's Gate games. There are a couple of arcade-type sequences which are a pain in the ass, but the combat system is fairly easy to use. (It is essenti...
