I do, too, Val. I also would love to visit that book shop.

Re: Murphy’s Law—it’s a real thing
I was without a kitchen for several weeks when I had it renovated two years ago, so I set up a 2-burner hotplate on the dining room buffet, and my cousin lent me her mini-fridge. It was like camping, but without the mosquitos.

Re: Jigsaw puzzles
My sister and I had fun putting this one together. We finished it last night. (My digital camera isn't working, so until I get a smart phone, I can't take a picture of the actual puzzle.) https://hosting.photobucket.com/images/v618/Lady_Kestrel/bookshop_puzzle.png?width=1920&height=1080&fit=...

I registered my sister and myself, but it doesn't look like we'll be getting the vaccine anytime soon. The demand still exceeds supply, especially here in Ocean county because of all the retirement communities. Johnson & Johnson has teamed up with Merck to ramp up production of J & J's vacci...

It is good to see you here, Rosaboobie. I can tell you've had a rough time lately, dealing with your own sadness about Maloo and Benji's decline as well. Hugs to you, and thanks so much for stopping by.

I think you had to paint the Mona Lisa in The Secrets of DaVinci: The Forbidden Manuscript.

Re: What Adventure Game Are You Playing
I played Amerzone a few years ago, JK, and did enjoy it, especially the animals. The water giraffes were my favorites, although it took me a while to figure out how to call them. I agree that the ending needed something more, and I was a bit puzzled as to why the crazy dictator was included. (Perhap...

Re: Jigsaw puzzles
That is impressive, but I'd either have to be young to put that one together or own a super-long dining room table.

Re: What Adventure Game Are You Playing
They had a community playthrough of it over at AG, and everyone seemed to have good things to say about it, especially the laugh-out-loud humor. It also won a bunch of Aggie awards over there. I wanted to play it, but the specs are too high for my current iMac.

Re: The Last Door (Collector’s Edition)
I purchased the Darkside Detective, which has the same kind of blocky pixels. The stills make my eyes water, but after watching a trailer, I could see that movement makes the graphics better. Also, it's supposed to be a funny game.

Re: What Adventure Game Are You Playing
I just finished the very unique puzzle adventure Gorogoa . I really liked shifting the four frames around to capture something, reveal something new, or create a path. It's not a long game, but there are quite a few clever conundrums that aren't obvious solves. I did get stuck in one place where I d...

Re: A long time adventure gamer
:hi Chimera Myst! I revisited Myst again recently with the RealMyst Masterpiece edition and had fun with it. Even though I've played the game several times, including Myst Masterpiece and the original RealMyst, I laughed at myself when I had trouble finding the brothers' rooms in Channelwood. (That'...
