Re: HDMI Cables for Monitor

That's kind of what we thought might be the case. For viewing video from your video card on your computer, there are these options. I forgot one of the most common ones - DVI! So you have to match up the port on your video card to the ports available on your monitor.

Re: New Computer Advice

Desktop or laptop is strictly your preference. I just can't do much on a laptop... I need a full sized keyboard and a large monitor. But I know lot of people who game and do everything else on a laptop. If you go desktop, then built is the best way to go. Did you have eCollegePC build yours? I've se...

Re: HDMI Cables for Monitor

But you can't use USB for video. To downgrade, you would have gone to your VGA port if the monitor had one.

I LOVE my bat. I even named him Froderick after the bat in A Vampyre Story.

Re: HDMI Cables for Monitor

OK. So USB doesn't carry graphics, so I'm not sure what you are using it for. HDMI is excellent for being able to carry both graphics and sound. High Definition Multiple Input. Your new monitor definitely has high definition. Connections for carrying graphics are the old VGA, HDMI or Display Port.

Re: What Are You Reading?

Interspersed are parts of The Marsh King's Daughter by Hans Christian Anderson, which are very dark. Helena Pelletier has a loving husband, two beautiful daughters, a...

Re: Does Anyone Have A Windows 95 Computer

I did, but she's in the UK and may not have seen it yet. It's Mad over at Gameboomers. I also asked oldbroad, but I'm thinking her old computers only go back to Windows 98.
