Re: The Recipe Exchange.

Hi all I haven't been here for awhile, but its nice to be back. I've got a really nice summer recipe. This has become a favorite with family and friends. Summer Corn and Peas (don't let the veggies fool you, they are good!) 1 Cup each of frozen corn and frozen peas, defrosted or quickly dipped in bo...

Oh yeah, this looks like a real recipe to me. I've used dark chocolate or unsweetened chocolate in loads of savory recipes. Try a bit of good cocoa powder in your beef gravy. People won't know why it tastes so good, but it will be very rich. I have a secret stash of extra dark chocolate just for coo...

Sorry all, I didn't make the bread this weekend. My group voted to go out for dinner. It wasn't my fault. :D They usually love my cooking, just one of the members had a rough month and needed a break from anything to do with home. And this weekend I promised a friend some raisin bread or some...

I'll probably substitute some strong thick coffee for the instant coffee but it looks delicious. Hmmm, I think some beef stew would go good with this too.
I'm going to try it this weekend, I'll go get the ingredients tonight.

I guess I'd better get some strong ale, strong cheese and fruit to go with it. Sounds like party bread.

I can get some of my friends to come over, they like it when I'm trying new recipes :D Even when they don't always work out.

Post it please, I'll give it a try. I've been off and on looking for a good dark bread recipe. I've tried a few and they have been good.

Sophie

That Black Velvet beverage sounds like just the thing. Sounds like an upscale black and tan. Hmmmm and I love a good stout. I'm putting that on my list for this weekend. What type of food would go with that?

It's too posh for fish and chips.

Okay, now I have two recipes to make this weekend. The grab and run breakfast bars and the apple bars. That'll take care of the coffee break for a couple of weeks. Although I might have to share with co-workers.

Tortellini Soup I made this soup in a small amount because I thought the boys (they were young then) wouldn't like it. They must have been starving because my sister and I almost didn't get any. But it's easy and elegant at the last minute too. When I make it fast I use canned and frozen, if I want ...

Would this technique work with black teas too?
