Oh, my, Salma. Now I'm going to have to remove that shoe box under my bed tonight!

Oh my goodness. . . I have so many types of landscapes that I love. Let me think about this for a bit. . .

I guess it all comes down to what kind of mood I'm in. I always love beautiful or spooky homes. One of the reasons I liked Celtica was the house! But I'm also thrilled and intrigued with storylines like Silent Hill. I like the normal turning into the abnormal. And of course, Timelapse is a game I can play over and over because of the vastness of the Mayan Empires or the tranquility of the Anasazis or the wonder of a deserted Egypt. . .

I prefer either old spooky houses or abandoned buildings. I love the idea of something hiding where you can't see them and waiting for something to come jumping at you out of the darkness. :eek

I had to choose castles first but after that is spooky houses. Castles have more rooms. Call me wierd but I like looking in rooms and looking at the decor. I love a good castle were the creator took time to decor a lot of rooms differently. Maybe why I am enjoying the manor. Lots of rooms. :yay :D

Madea, you have joined a lot of like-minded Manorites there! I love to wander places with lots of rooms just to see what they are like. Not that I want to live in one though. I have enough challenge keeping up with my 100+ year old farmhouse with 8 rooms!

You got that right, I look at real houses that large and although they might be beautiful, uppermost in mind is how long it takes to clean and how expensive it will be to take care of. :)

My ideal house is a small to medium size with airy rooms. I love victorians and farmhouses though, so I don't know if those two will merge with small and medium.

If I had to pick one it would be far off places. The game environments I like are ones which have depth, they're not just there for the purposes of the game, you can talk to the NPCs about what they like to eat concerts they've been to recently etc.

Not sure how one votes here - I'm missing something I know!

It's not you, Kickaha. The vote button is missing. I suspect it has something to do with the upgrade. I'll ask GL about it.

You must have already voted. That's the only way you wouldn't see the voting button. This is an older post, btw.

I could believe I've forgotten about voting before, particularly if this is an older thread which has got bumped up!

This was a fun but difficult question? I love spooky houses, which also is my vote, but I also like Myst-like environments as well as places like Stark in TLJ.

I had to choose Myst but I really meant Riven. Myst is a bit of a cold place to spend time.

I adored the snow scenes in Syberia II which is why I'm keeping an ear out for news of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel - the screenshots have got me hooked.

For me, the fun of the game is the exploration of strange places and there ain't nothing stranger where I live than snow.
