It looks good. Do the characters come with the scene?

No the characters are Michael, Victoria and RDNA Scout. M4 and V4 comes with Daz Studios. The Scout, I think came with Poser 5, not sure now, too long ago. :flower:

I see. So you got the background and then added the characters.

Yes, everything is all double click or drag and drop then once you get it into the work space you move everything around to your liking. If I wanted an alleyway, I would just leave a gap between the buildings, but then I might have to put a sky in which I would make in Bryce. It's a great hobby, I love it. I think they still have the free bundles on at Daz.

Haven't got the hang of Hexagon yet, tried a couple of tuts and gave up. I think once you get familiar with the controls it's pretty much smooth sailing

The biggest headache for me was getting the 3rd party models to co-operate with the aniblocks. When they walked they were walking on their heels, so I had to pin their feet down.

The new Daz has a lot of great features, like the auto fit. The clothes the models are wearing were made for them so they fit with the fit to feature. Now if I were to move these characters around to make them walk the clothes should stay on.

So there you go, a crash course on Daz. If you are interested in creating, it is well worth spending the time to learn and you'll love the results :flower:

Skeeter,
I have a couple of scrapbooks I haven't filled yet. There's always something else to do, but I'd like to do one for each of my siblings who have kids and grandkids. They might get a kick out of the silly styles we wore way back then.

My weakness is blank journals. I usually average writing a couple of pages a day, so with the 7 or 8 I have sitting on my shelf, I should use them up when I'm 104. I resisted a splurge on one with a gorgeous tooled leather cover just last week. :D

I am a collector - I need to do more. There are so many trips and celebrations to be recorded before they're forgotten...

Wow, that looks like a really good one. You must make a movie of your babies, would love to see them running around. I took some movies of my neighbor's dogs the other day, they have to be edited. If you need to edit movies you can do it with Windows Movie Maker Live, or if you want a commercial editor, Sony Vegas is supposed to be good, but expensive. I use Nero editor, it's not bad, it's better than movie maker. I had a hard time with mm when I did battle of the bones. Well I"m off, enjoy your new camera when it comes :flower:

I have not worked out how to use my new camera yet - It's a Birthday present from me to me LOL but I must not stop my unpacking yet to play with it - but everyone who visits me just falls in love with my original splurge - my solid oak kitchen island unit!

Any more splurges, anyone?

Once you get the hang of the new camera Boobie you'll find you can't take enough pictures. Hubby takes pictures of his sports games when they're on. I make jigsaw puzzles of my roses.

Recent splurges, I bought myself two more sci-fi models for one of my games with my contest winnings. I bought the sci-fi bar and control center. They look great, I can't get over the amount of props you get with these models. I wish I could work, so I could buy more of them. Oh well :flower:

There are many moments I realise that I'm insane, and one of those was when I lashed out for the following:

Image

It's a signed edition of a SF book that I like a lot.

If you get enjoyment from it then it's not insane. If you bought several of them then I would begin to wonder
