Hmm, if you song up for your own subscription to YouTube you can save Favorites and Playlists. You can go back to them anytime and not clog up your computer. A plus is you can access them anywhere as YouTube does the storing. You can sign in and out or if you are the only one using the computer, just stay logged in. I have the app on my phone and don't sign out there, but do so on the computer so as not to confuse my account with my grands. I do not have a Yahoo toolbar or a Google one that is associated with YouTube. Sign in for YouTube and Google is the same.

I tried to download a couple of youtube videos and the files were so huge, I deleted them.

I don't download any, just access them through Favorites.

I have downloaded a few that my children made. I have a huge amount of disk space, so that's not a consideration. One of them is 3:41 long and about 43 MB.

I have a pay program (only $35, though) that I use for work that came with a utility to save YouTube videos. It's called WinX DVD Ripper Platinum, and the utility is WinX HD Video Converter Deluxe.

PC World recommends Video Download Helper, a Firefox addon.
http://www.pcworld.com/article/150576-3 ... ddons.html

By default it usually downloads Youtube videos as .flv files, so you'll need a program that can display .flv files -- like VLC.

Thanks, middletoe. Good to see you, by the way! After yet another 100°+ day, your avatar looks inviting...

Wow that is close by, my wife and I often take walks with our dogs and sometimes that is the street we take.

I live on _____ ____ _____ = another nickname used for Marijuana

I wasn't quite sure what name it was (there are so many nicknames for the weed) so I had a look at the map. Could not believe they would call a street Mary Jane! Must be a lot of snickers over that one. I'll bet my young 20's grandchildren know about it though.

Actually, Diat, I'll bet they don't! That was the nickname back when I was in my 20's about a gazillion years ago - well, maybe about 40. There are probably new nicknames that we don't know about now.

And to add what Draclvr said, our sign is sooooo popular with the Local Marijuana dealers or smokers, that we have had our Street sign stolen give or take 10 times since I have been living there and this is not good when an emergency vehicle needs to find our Street.

That's why I chose it. It's hot where I live too.
