Alright, this year, I think I may go as one of my favourite Harper's Island characters. I've narrowed it down to five choices.
1. Katherine Wellington

PROS - Easy to assemble. Clothing can be stylish and simple. May add shears in the back for completed effect. Has the shock value and possibility to fool people into thinking I was a hot step-mother.
CONS - Can I really be a sexy as Claudette Mink?
2. Maggie Krell

PROS - Has humor value. Clothing also simplistic. Complete with jewelery, a curly wig, and a noose around the neck, it would be a pretty effective costume.
CONS - I'm not as hefty as Maggie. Either I get a lot of pillows and give myself a heck of make-up job, or I use expensive prosthetic and spirit gum on the face.
3. Uncle Marty

PROS - Easiness. It wouldn't take so much time to get my hair in his style, add facial hair and find a nice white blazer and shirt. Find a bag, stuff it full of Monopoly money and a fake gun and voila!
CONS - Relatively boring compared to the rest. Unless I can give the illusion that I have no lower half.
4. Richard Allen

PROS - Richard and I have similar tastes in clothing, so clothes would have little accessibility issues. If I can construct a fake harpoon, add fake blood to the torso and mouth, it would be an awesome costume.
CONS - Mobility. "Excuse me, pardon me. Harpoon coming through."
5. Thomas Wellington

PROS - It's always fun to dress up like a big honcho. Especially if I can construct a head spade to grace my face.
CONS - Hard to see and talk if spade is in the way. Without the spade though, the costume would be quite boring.
So which idea do you guys like the best? I'm not really interested in the other characters, just so you know.
