Where do you get the most enjoyment from your gameplay? In space or a castle or a fairytale or jungle etc.

My first is definitely a spooky place. I've always like walking through jungles and for my third choice I would select sometype of vehicle such as a boat or flying device for the interaction.

I love exploring old buildings - be they hotels, houses, or what have you. I like opening doors, exploring rooms, and rummaging through drawers and cabinets. Don't worry, I NEVER look in the medicine cabinet when visiting a friend!! :) :)

I had a hard time choosing from your selection. I'm not especially fond of sci-fi, or spooky places, but don't mind them - the only areas I really dislike is underwater searching for things - boy-o-boy can I get lost! I really like most environments - photo, cartoon, whatever.

I put castle, but I think my favorite kind of place isn't even listed.

I like places like you see in Myst, Riven, Exile, and Syberia - sort of a combination of natural landscapes with unusual decorative architecture.
Of course a castle or manor house could fit that description too, if you include the gardens.

I like castles with old victorian rooms.
I also look to walk through dark woods with spooky nightsounds.

I couldn't pick from that list either, my favorite places are locations fairly close to reality, with great Sci-Fi or Fantasy stories.
For instance, J-man3-Legacy of Time, Zork Nemesis (or ZGI), Riven, Timelapse,.......
Of course I also love games like Broken Sword 1 & 2, Kyrandia-Hand of Fate, the Discworlds,
Also love the 'Haunted', as in Shivers, Dark Fall. Sanitarium, ...

Hmmmmm, looks like I love them all.

Sci-fi for me please.

But otherwise as long as it's not set in Atlantis or Egypt it's fine. :)

I thought this topic might be fun to bring around again.

I added a few new places.

I like this poll.
Its easy for me: "All of the Above" except for Fairytale and Cartoon Fantasy

I like a mixture of indoor and outdoor scenes and a third person to keep me company. That's adventure!

I like a mixture in a game, inside and outside so long as there is a lot to explore, but I guess I'll vote for Myst like environments.

As a horror freak I choose "Spooky place like a house or hotel".

Spooky places, haunted castles, manors etc. are for me.

I don't like Sci Fi/ Futuristc over much.
Judging by the poll, we are in the right place here at The Manor.

:)

Spooky wins out over all, castles, house, hotel, and I like the Egyptian, tombs, with spooky music to set the mood.
