Re: Imbueing and Other Help and Hints in Diablo II

You aren't playing with a Hardcore mode character, where death is permanent, right?

Re: How to Get Your Classic Blizzard Games Playing on New Systems

My apologies, you are right about the Mana use for Blade Sentinel! I got the Mana usage mixed up the the Sorceress' Frost Nova skill (where the usage goes up as the skill level gets higher! I should have checked before posting. Anyway, one of the characters that I've been playing lately is al...

Re: How to Get Your Classic Blizzard Games Playing on New Systems

I just double-checked how I do it on my Mac. • I select Single-player mode (are you using Single-Player mode or playing on battle.net? I doubt that it works on battle.net. • Then I type the "enter" ("return" on the Mac) key to open the chat window (which is transparent, at the bottom of the game scr...

EDIT: So, I'm at the Kurast docks. I pressed "enter" and nothing happen to give me a dialogue box???

Hmm, maybe it is different in windows. What do you normally do to send a message/chat?

Re: How to Get Your Classic Blizzard Games Playing on New Systems

The reason I learned so many tips and tricks is that I hung out for a long time at the single-player forums at diabloii.net (when they existed) and everyone shared what they learned about the game.

Re: How to Get Your Classic Blizzard Games Playing on New Systems

I use /players 8 nearly always (I activate it as soon as I start/restart the game). It's really important to remember to type the slash (the earlier versions of the game didn't need the slash to activate the players 8 code) because it lets you gain experience much faster (and also makes the enemies ...

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

;) "only 750 pieces" ... My preferred piece counts are from 300-600 pieces, although I also enjoy building smaller and larger piece counts sometimes. I am limited by my available table's dimensions, though. The largest piece count I've built so far is 1500 pieces. I really like the old Whitman 304 p...

Re: How to Get Your Classic Blizzard Games Playing on New Systems

Wow, you move fast! Did you already complete the Nightmare difficulty level? Your Assassin seems at too a low level to have done that already... Are you using /players 8 to play now (to make things harder and get experience faster -- it simulates what 8 players would face (hit the enter/return key, ...

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

Oh, that's a cool puzzle (the one with your house in it)! And I can understand the appeal of a bookstore crowded with old books. :) I tend to like undersea images, and dinosaurs, and cool-looking buildings for my puzzle choices, but sometimes I am pleasantly surprised by puzzles with images I didn't...

Re: Back from holiday

Wow, cool pics! That is a huge boat/ship. Could you tell you were on the water (in other words, did it sway in the waves)? It seems the people in Iceland are making good use of the volcanic heat.

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

I have the Peter's Jigsaw app, too. :) I used to do "digital" puzzles a lot more before I started building the cardboard ones again, but I still do one occasionally (but often forget to post pics of them). Like your sister, I sometimes also put the edge pieces in a separate smaller bag (which I then...
