Re: This might amuse

That was such fun to read, Kickaha, and the soft toy who said that thinking is over-rated made me laugh. Also, there's no need to feel stupid about having soft toys (or stuffed animals, as we call them in the US). I have 4 big bins of Teddy bears and rabbits that I have to rotate with the seasons. I...

Re: Happy Halloween

My eyes are good right now, Sneaker. I had cataract surgery on one a few weeks ago and will have the other one done in a couple of weeks.

Re: Happy Halloween

That sounds like fun, Sneaker. My sister has been rewatching all the episodes of the soap opera Dark Shadows that I gave her last year. They come in a coffin-shaped box and all the disc boxes together form the image of Barnabas, the vampire, lying in the coffin. I had an appointment with one of my e...

Re: Happy Halloween

I love the spooky card, StarLite! I'm not expecting very many kids this year. Aside from a few families, most of the kids on my block are now grown with households and families of their own.

Re: Air Fryer's

Even if I had space for another appliance, I couldn't buy one now because my kitchen is about to be renovated from top to bottom. I have to find storage for everything while the work is being done, and I think I'll take the opportunity to give away those things I haven't used in umpteen years.

You might like Gorogoa. Adventure Tref has quite a few screenshots: http://www.adventure-treff.de/spiele-da ... 67-gorogoa

A creepy one is Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

That's so funny! Benji looks disappointed that the footstool isn't a bigger challenge for him.

Re: My Summer has simply flown by!

Your property is lovely, RB! It sounds like you're reaching the end of the unpacking and are starting to make the place your own. Moving big pieces is difficult. I use the slide method If I can lift it enough to get a towel under each end. Otherwise, I'm fortunate to have helpful neighbors.

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

Almost any kind of puzzle can be fun. The last one we put together was only 750 pieces, but it was a Frank Lloyd Wright design with lots of bright colors. Bas Bleu booksellers has a couple I've been eyeing for my sister's birthday in November. One is composed of small NYC scenes (signs, store fronts...

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

Sis doesn't have an internet connection on her computer because of her limited reading ability, and I'm not on FB, but I did enjoy scrolling through the hundreds of puzzles posted there and yours, of course. I found only one on FB that we have put together: Birds of the Backyard. (It was tricky deci...
