Re: How is Everyone Coping?

I ordered some meat from Omaha Steaks last night because the shelves at ShopRite were quite empty of it yesterday. Pasta and cereal were also nearly wiped out. We picked up some brands we hadn't tried before, so maybe we'll find some new favorites.

Re: How is Everyone Coping?

Tomorrow I plan to walk over to our ShopRite in the shopping center behind my house to pick up a few necessities and a prescription from their pharmacy, but otherwise my sister and I are in good shape to hunker down for the duration of this epidemic. Between books, games, jigsaw puzzles, art project...

Re: Geospots, a Carol Reed Game

I thought there were a few of them that were Mac compatible, but when I checked recently and didn't see any mention of Macs, I thought I had made a mistake. I'll have to contact the developer to see if they're still available for 10.10.

Re: Geospots, a Carol Reed Game

It's good to see you, RCB! I've always been attracted to the Carol Reed games, but there aren't any that have been ported to Macs. I've heard good things about the Rusty Lake games - very puzzle oriented, which I like.

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

Jude, After putting together the border of a 1000-piece puzzle, my sister always says, "This one is too hard!" However, within half a day she has made a good start. She's best at finding like pieces to assemble, and I'm good at finding where they attach to the rest. Drac, I will see the doctor again...

Re: Jigsaw puzzles

You made a good start on 2020, Jude. That tropical fish one would have driven me a bit batty, but the dinosaur one looks fun to do. My sister is working on her 4th jigsaw puzzle since the new year. She finished two funny ones by CEACO with 550 pieces. The first is Pets Rock, a funny one with dogs dr...

Re: Back from my travels again

That was quite an adventure, Kickaha! Your visit to the Monster Cafe made me smile because it reminded me of screenshots I've seen of 9: The Last Resort. Hobbiton looked quite fun to visit, and I loved the beautiful scenic shots in New Zealand. Also, I think it's funny that we were both at Heathrow ...

Re: Winter Storms

That was quite an experience you went through, JK! I'm glad you got it all sorted out.

I just got back from my annual theatre in London trip last night, so aside from cold temps today, I haven't experienced anything significant except some rain and a couple of windy days since Jan. 8.

Re: Photobucket problem

Finally, I was able to get onto the site. Most of my pics are there, but I guess I wasn't the only one concerned: **SERVICE DISRUPTION UPDATE 12/21: The majority of Photobucket Members are back online. We continue to work on getting all Members’ fully functional. We will report back as progress cont...

Re: Photobucket problem

I just paid them $123.98 to upgrade my account, which was supposed to allow me the 3rd party postings. Now everything I've posted that was linked to them, including numerous quizzes, avatars, tournament graphics, and photos, are now gone. I also can't get onto their website. I get a bunch of ads ins...

Photobucket problem

I noticed that my avatar, a direct link from Photobucket, was missing over at GB, but I haven't been able to log on to their site to investigate. I have a paid account with unlimited links on other websites, so that shouldn't be the problem. Is anyone else having trouble with their site?

Re: Good Morning

Eek, Val! My thermometer only goes up to 50 C, which is 120 F, a temperature I've never seen here. In fact,
our summer temps are in the 80s most of the time, and 3 days in a row over 90 is considered a heat wave.

Your grandkids are adorable! Are they just digging or looking for something?
